Common questions.

TandPay stands for TrustAndPay. We are an escrow platform that holds buyer payments via Mobile Money until the seller delivers the item and the buyer confirms receipt using a unique delivery code. We protect both sides of every social commerce transaction.

When a buyer pays, TandPay generates a unique 4-digit code that only the seller can see. The seller writes this code on the package or tells the rider. When the package arrives, the rider gives the code to the buyer. The buyer enters it on TandPay to confirm they received the item. This proves delivery happened.

If the seller never delivers, you never enter the code, and the money is never released. After 7 days without delivery confirmation, the transaction expires and your money is returned to you automatically.

After confirming delivery with the code, you have 48 hours to inspect the item. If something is wrong, click "Report Issue" and describe the problem. The money stays locked while our team reviews the case and contacts both parties to resolve it fairly.

Once the buyer enters the delivery code, they can release payment immediately or take 48 hours to inspect. Either way, money is sent directly to your MTN MoMo account minus the 3% platform fee. If the buyer does nothing for 48 hours, payment is released to you automatically.

No. TandPay works entirely through web links. Sellers create payment links and share them on WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, or any platform. Buyers click the link, pay with MoMo, and track their order — all in the browser. No app download needed.
